Message From President
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our incredible supporters, in Paro and all around Bhutan and outside, for the support you have shown us and the team all this time.
At times, it has been tough but support from you, kept us pushing beyond limits, and with your continued support, Paro FC will surely become competitive beyond boundaries -together, we can achieve great things.
CHAMPIONS - 2022
The Paro FC Women team was formed in 2019 December and debuted in the Bhutan Football Federation National League, 2020. The team offers scholarship for tertiary education, training and games for the senior team. By 2022 Paro FC has been able to strengthen the women team with a core group for support of women football formed. In addition to developing the players technically and physically, Paro FC has strived to support each girl with her confidence, creativity, decision-making ability and love for the game. We at Paro FC want girls:
The Grassroots football programme of Paro FC is closely aligned with the main objective of FIFA’s grassroots football programme by allowing football to be discovered by as many people as possible.
We have got a facility lease from the community school for thirty years and we give them access to football in their own environment whatever their age, sex, physical condition, skin colour, religion or ethnic origin is.
Paro FC aspires to make a professional approach to Youth Development. We have successfully identified the guiding principles and “best practices” that best fits the youth development at Paro FC. We have continually strived to raise the standards and expectations of player development at the youth level.
Congratulations to our President Dasho Ugyen Tsechup for being elected as the Vice President of the Asian Football Confederation. This historic achievement for Bhutan Football Federation and the nation will bring new opportunities and growth for Bhutanese football.
