Paro FC Grind Out a Gritty Win at Home
It wasn't always pretty, but Paro FC will take it. The side edged past RTC FC 1–0 in a tense, tightly fought match at their home ground, Woochu Sports Arena, holding their nerve through long stretches of pressure to walk away with all three points.

The breakthrough came early, just ten minutes in. A teasing cross from Richard found its way into the box, and in the scramble to clear it, RTC FC turned the ball into their own net. Not the way any team wants to fall behind, but for Paro FC, it was the perfect start.
From there, it became a familiar story: one team defending a lead, the other chasing an equaliser. RTC FC grew braver as the half wore on, pushing men forward and probing for a way back in, but Paro FC stayed composed, happy to let the game come to them.

The second half brought more of the same, and then some. RTC FC leaned harder into their search for a leveller, especially in the closing stages, throwing everything they had at a resolute Paro FC backline. But the home side didn't flinch. Organised, patient, and defiant, they saw out every anxious minute.

By the time the final whistle blew, Paro FC had done what they needed to: defend a slim lead in front of their own fans at Woochu Sports Arena, against a team that never stopped believing. It wasn't a performance built on flair, but on discipline and grit, and it's enough to keep them right at the top of the table.
RTC FC will have to dust themselves off quickly, with another fixture already on the horizon.
