Paro FC Put On a Show in Seven-Goal Rout of Tsirang FC
Some days everything just clicks, and this was one of them for Paro FC.
The Tigers put on a ruthless attacking display at home, brushing aside Tsirang FC 7-0 in a match that turned into a procession long before the final whistle. It was the kind of result that reminds everyone why Paro FC sit where they do in the table.
The opener came from a well-drilled set piece, with Nima Wangdi on hand to turn a training-ground routine into the perfect start. Paro FC took that lead into the break, but what followed after the interval was something special.
Within twelve second-half minutes, Yuta Mishima put on an attacking masterclass, scoring four times to send the home crowd into raptures. He opened with a tidy left-footed finish set up by Nima Wangdi, added a second just two minutes later off a pass from Jawara, then rose to head home a Richard cross before rounding things off with another composed left-footed finish, this time teed up by Abdoulie. Four goals, four different styles, one relentless afternoon. It pushed him to the top of the season's scoring charts with 14 goals.
Nima Wangdi wasn't finished either. Not long after Yuta's burst, he found the net again with a composed finish into the corner, making it six for Paro FC before being brought off, his afternoon's work well and truly done.
By this stage, Tsirang FC were also down to ten men, and the Tigers made the extra space count. A long throw from Tandin picked out Abdoulie, who rose above everyone to power a header past a helpless goalkeeper for the seventh and final goal of the game.
It capped off a complete performance from Paro FC, clinical in front of goal and relentless from start to finish. Fittingly, Yuta Mishima was named Man of the Match for his four-goal contribution.
